MechPro Experts legal
Claim Service Disclaimer
MechPro helps coordinate an accident claim and repair. This page explains which decisions remain with the insurer, surveyor, workshop and customer.
MechPro coordinates the process
MechPro helps gather information, organise documents, connect authorised participants and show progress. MechPro does not itself approve or reject an insurance claim.
The insurer decides coverage
The insurer and its authorised representatives decide policy validity, admissibility, cashless eligibility, deductions, depreciation, excess, total loss, repair approval and settlement. Their final communication governs the insurance outcome.
The surveyor assesses the loss
Where a surveyor or loss assessor is appointed, that professional independently inspects and assesses the damage. MechPro may display the assessment but does not replace or control it.
The workshop performs the repair
The selected workshop is responsible for inspection, estimates, workmanship, parts, safety, custody of the vehicle and the repair warranty it provides. Hidden damage, parts availability and additional approvals can change cost and timing.
Information must be checked
Document reading and other automated assistance can be incomplete or incorrect. Customers, brokers and partners must check important names, numbers, dates, policy details and vehicle details against the original document before confirming or submitting them.
No guaranteed result
A recommendation, estimated amount, expected date, cashless indication or progress status is provided for coordination and does not guarantee claim approval, settlement value, repair cost or delivery date.
Customer decisions
The customer remains responsible for reviewing estimates, exclusions, own-cost work and payment requests before accepting them. Ask MechPro for clarification when information is unclear, and rely on the insurer's written decision for final policy coverage.
